Barbara got her daughter into the sport with a pair of boots and a riding lesson. Since then the two have been a mother-daughter duo at times acting more like sisters. Barb rode when she was a teen, and through college until she and husband Harvey started a family. She got the itch to ride again after she got Kaytlin started. Since Kaytlin was a child, she and her mother spent most of their free time at the barn or at horse shows. Barb has competed in the 3 Foot Adult Hunters. Barb’s true love is in the hunt field. Her love for fox hunting started years ago when she first capped with the Limestone Creek Hunt. She received her colors in 2005 with The Limestone Creek Hunt. If you’re in the hunt field and don’t recognize her you know her beloved sidekick Ado. She loves introducing people to the sport and is also on the Board of Stewards helping the hunt push forward. When Barb is not in the barn she is working full time for Countryway Insurance.
